Transport is responsible for ¼ of green house gas emissions in the UK.

Petrol and diesel are both fossil fuels used by cars, vans and lorries.

Public transport is a more environmentally friendly way to travel.

Cycling and walking are even better.

Cars and lorries can be made to run on cleaner fuels. Ethanol, bio-diesel, hydrogen, or vegetable oil.

BUT there is not enough space to grow all the crops needed to power the number of cars on the road today.
