Why play inside on a sunny day? Go outside remembering your hat and sun lotion.

You do not need to turn on the light during the day. Make the most of the sun’s natural light.

Turn off all electrical items if they are not being used. Turn off the light / computer if you are leaving the room.

Remember to turn off the tap after you finish using it.

Don’t use the car for short journeys. Walk whenever it is possible.

Keep all your fruit and vegetable peelings and compost them in the garden. Before long, you will have new soil to use.

Recycle or re-use all your newspapers or magazines after you have finished reading them.

Don’t put too much water in the kettle. Only use the amount of water that you need.

Share a bath with your brother or sister to save water. Better still, have a shower to save even more water.

Try to go to bed without leaving the light on. If you do need to have light, use a low-energy bulb in your lamp.
