Climate
The climate of Wales can be described as "temperate". Wales has warm summers and mild winters with rainfall throughout the year. This means that it never gets very hot or very cold. The months of May, June, July and August are when Wales experiences the sunniest and driest weather.
Climate
The welsh climate is determined by our Latitude, Closeness to the Atlantic, The warm ocean current called the North Atlantic Drift and the shape of the land (relief).
Climate
Scientists believe that the climate in Wales will change over the next 100 years. The summers will be hotter and drier. The winters will be warmer but stormier. The average temperature will go up 1.5 – 2.5 degrees. The average rainfall will rise by a small amount. But more of the rain will fall in the winter. There will be a 60% greater chance of severe storms.
